Bep Saigon isn't just a restaurant; it's a celebration of flavors that merge the rich culinary traditions of Vietnam and China. The Salt and Pepper Calamari comes highly recommended, with a delightful spicy kick that tickles the taste buds at $14.00. For a lighter bite, the Spicy Lettuce Wraps and Cream Cheese Puffs are both crowd-pleasers, priced at $9.00 each and exhibiting a perfect balance of taste and texture.
The soups at Bep Saigon are a must-try. The Bun Rieu, a Vietnamese crab noodle soup served in a rich tomato broth, is an absolute highlight, making you feel like you're savoring a piece of home with every slurp. The depth of flavor and freshness of ingredients are noticeably superior, validating a price of $14.99. Bep Saigon is an easy and convenient spot for Vietnamese food in Austin. I usually order the áp chảo and find they do a good job of keeping it crispy. I've had some before at other locations where it can get soggy from the sauces that get added. The vibe is casual and the staff is really nice.

The best BBH in the Austin area! The soup is perfect, they give you so much meat and the right vegetables to go with it. We've ordered other items like banh xeo, bo luc lac, salt and pepper calamari, all were fantastic! Service is always great and fast. Plenty of parking and we're always seated right away. Restaurant itself is clean and bathrooms are well kept. Cannot recommend this place more!

This is our new go to spot! Delicious food, great service, and clean restaurant. We ordered the egg drop soup, shaken beef, jellyfish salad and catfish pot- all were excellent. Our favorite was the shaken beef and I always love egg drop soup. There was something about this soup however that was so rich- I'll be back for more! Overall highly recommend for Vietnamese!

Had a great experience here! Lots of Vietnamese and Chinese dishes available, including lunch specials. I got the pork belly which was delicious! It even came with 2 eggs. Our other order was the pork vermicelli, which was a huge portion! I think the portions for the price are very good. They even gave me extra rice when I packed my leftovers to-go. Disclaimer, their door is quite difficult to push. Haha.

Went for dinner a few days ago and had a good experience! We got the chicken vermicelli bowl, the chicken was really good, I thought the sauce that it came with was a little on the sweeter side. The braised fish had really good flavor! It had a lot of fish bones so had to be really careful while eating it but thought it was good too. Overall both entrees were on the sweeter side and we definitely used the chilli oil/sriracha a lot. The Thai tea was standard, however the coconut juice was super refreshing with fresh pieces of coconut fruit in the glass. The service was quick, friendly staff. Overall the ambiance is also nice. Cute place, will return again!

This is the Vietnamese restaurant you take your discerning parents to. They are serving up tasty familiar home style Vietnamese meals. Recommend: Canh Chua Ca (Sweet and Sour Fish Stew), $35 (Large) Ca Kho (Braised/Caramelized Fish in Claypot), $16 Bun Rieu (Crab Noodle Soup), $14 Bun Bo Hue (Spicy Beef Noodle Soup), $14 Banh Khot (Savory Mini Pancakes), $13 Everything was delicious, staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend for a taste of VN. Learn Viet Bep = Kitchen

Yummm!!!! Was recommended this place from a friend who said this was the only Vietnamese restaurant he'd go to because it tasted like home ,.. Food was really good full of flavor Service was quick n friendly We didn't eat inside so I can't say much about what it looked like inside Definitely recommend this place

Ordered the Bun Thit Cha Gin (Vermicili bowl with Pork and egg rolls) and it was a sizable portion. Easily two or three meals and very generous. The pork was well seasoned and not too fatty. Also they are very generous with the egg rolls in this dish. Most other Vietnamese restaurants only give two egg rolls - this had a whole layer of bite sized egg roll pieces. This place is popular being so close to all the office parks in Tech Ridge and there are many reputable local food bloggers that rank this up in their lists. Can't wait to try their other dishes to get a better gauge where they compare with other classics in Austin.

Went here because I saw the recs from Facebook. Between 4 of us we shared: - Banh khot - Canh chua (small) - Pork belly clay pot - Fried noodle special Banh khot was good, but felt like the portions were small. It looked like it was made in a takoyaki pan and then cut in half since there were "blank" baby pieces. For the price I expected more. The soup portion was much bigger than we expected for the size we ordered, so this felt like a generous serving. The fried noodle was pretty good! I enjoyed the texture of the noodle. We got the combo but I was a bit sad that tofu wasn't included. Pork belly clay pot was really small too. The fried boiled egg was interesting but I don't think it was worth the price. Overall they have some good more unique options in Austin but you pay for it!
